Vision Boards for Creating the Life You Desire

Soooo, this is super exciting!! I said I’d be back today with vision boards for creating the life I desire, and well, here I am. Let me tell you, this was FUN! I mentioned that I’ve been struggling to create vision boards, but once I let go of some odd level of control, every single one of my boards flowed together. Talk about finding your flow in life! 😊

I created 6 boards so far, and I’m feeling happy to share them with you today. First up is my vision board for the early morning quiet time that we all know I love so much! And then onward from there.

A Mindful Morning

I love sleep, so the cozy bed is a reminder to always get enough sleep – but let’s be real, I never sleep quite enough. Obviously, something to work on! Then all the gym gear because my workouts are LIFE. Seriously don’t know what I’d do without my morning workout – totally keeps me centered and sane. Next up is my quiet time for ALL the coffee, reading, writing, and creating blog content. I included the yoga pic for both yoga + meditation. On my non-workout days, I used to get up early and do yoga, and it’s something I’d like to get back to doing – hence why it’s on my vision board for a mindful morning. Oh, and meditation, which I’m currently LOVING. I am on day 26 of my 31-day meditation challenge, and I’m looking forward to keeping it going. Right now, I meditate after yoga and before bed in the evening, but I’d love to include a morning sesh too.

Boss Lady HQ

Yep, you read that right! I CANNOT wait to have an office where I can take ALL the inspired action that will allow me to create the life I desire. When I think of this office space, it’s the space where I get to do most everything I want to do in life. I’m an introvert – no secret there! – so I thrive off working behind-the-scenes on things. Hence why I love having a website and getting to write until my heart’s content. My vision is to expand Cesca Rose into an all-out lifestyle brand. For me, this includes continued blogging, sweet + savory recipe creation, photography, yoga, and life coaching via courses and one-on-one sessions. Does it sound like a lot? Sure, but who said you can only do one thing in life? No one, so carry on.

Ooooh, and when I envision my office, it’s FULL of natural bright light. I’m talking like floor-to-ceiling windows all around. Natural light makes me super happy! I also see my office being pretty, light, and dainty. I’m not a girly-girl, but I LOVE pretty things. Oh, and no clutter. Better work on my little habit of gathering piles of paper. Haha! Do you see all the bright white, pink, and yellow in the pics?! LOVE.

A Bright + Pretty + Peaceful Home

Oh yes, lots more bright white here with more pretty accents of pink, yellow, and gray. Years ago, I would’ve preferred a kitchen with espresso-colored cabinets and who knows what else. But today, I’m looking for everything to be bright, calming, and dainty. There’s that word again! I’m thinking almost minimalist, but still warm and cozy. And with this, I definitely want a zen room for yoga + meditation – oh, that is so exciting!

You all know how much I love coffee, so of course I want a balcony where I can sit outside, sip my coffee, enjoy the weather, and listen to nature. SO peaceful! I used to do this every morning, and I super miss it. I’m a simple girl – I don’t need a lot to be happy + joyful in life. As long as I have a lot of natural light, pretty little stuff around the house, and a peaceful space, I’m good to go. These vision boards have got me legitimately SO EXCITED! Maybe you’ve noticed by now?!

Yoga Goals

In case you haven’t heard (haha!), I’m going to Greece SOON for yoga teacher training. And I am thrilled beyond words – not only because it’s GREECE, but because I am creating new ways for me to help others through teaching yoga. I am, without a doubt, a super fan of yoga and meditation for living a calm and peaceful life. Yoga has been very healing for me. It’s where I found so many answers, where I began a solid relationship with God, and where I can always come back to myself. I’ve been thinking a lot about yoga for trauma, so that may be one avenue I explore once I’m certified to teach. But anyway, I included this vision board because of what yoga means to me now and what it’ll mean to me in the future. I very much look forward to having yoga be a bigger part of my life – to leading retreats (around the world!) and to learning more new and challenging poses. Yoga is for sure one of my happy places!

A Loving + Supportive Relationship

Love – one of my most favorite things of all. Fitting that today is Valentine’s Day, huh? 😉 I wholeheartedly believe in love and in finding + creating the best relationship for me and my partner. I so look forward to what the future holds for me when it comes to love, and I am truly very excited! I want a relationship that is entirely loving and supportive – a partner who makes me want to be a better woman, someone who inspires me and helps me grow. I look forward to having someone I can be 100% me with, someone I can be vulnerable with, and who loves me for me – flaws included. I want a partner who can’t imagine their life without me, someone who I can inspire, support, and love with all I am.

While I have been married before, I have never been proposed to, nor did I have an engagement ring. The ring I included here is from Brilliant Earth, and I’d simply love to see a ring like this on my ring finger one day. I also love cushion cut diamonds, if anyone is wondering, lol! For me, a ring isn’t about the diamonds, but about the love it represents. I see an incredible relationship in my future, and I am happy + joyful just thinking about it. I want to wear an amazing wedding dress, and I can totally envision our wedding day. Oh, and that tropical pic on the board? That’s our honeymoon in Bora Bora – super gorgeous! Never been on a honeymoon either, so I absolutely want to experience that with my future hubby. Honestly SO EXCITING!

Wait, I included that Paris wedding pic because I keep envision something about a rooftop…engagement maybe? A rooftop overlooking a city I can’t identify – all I know is it’s beautiful, and I’d love to see it be my reality. Lastly, the wedding dress pic here isn’t the one, but it’s close enough. I had a screenshot of this stunning lace wedding gown, like the one here, but I can’t find it. I’m positive it’s by the same designer because the pic was just like this one, but I don’t know the designer either. Ah! If you do, lemme know, please! Anyway, I’ll wear a beautiful wedding dress like this one day – I’m positive, because my vision board says so! 😊

Travel the World

Oh goodness, I want to travel so bad and I WILL – hence this travel vision board.  I’ve been to Sicily, Italy twice in my life, which I LOVED, but I’ve never really been anywhere else. I’m happy to be kicking off my travel with going to Santorini, Greece – and I feel like that trip is going to be the start of a serious love for seeing the world. What I envision for myself is living abroad for about a year – specifically in Terrasini, Sicily, Santorini, Greece, and Lisbon, Portugal. I will also travel to London, Paris, and Bali. Oh, and since I was a kid, I’ve wanted to visit the Taj Mahal, so there’s that. I’ve also been attached to Africa since I was way little, so it’s an absolute must, starting with Morocco. There is so much to see in this beautiful world, and what I want most is to travel the world with the person I love. Very much looking forward to doing that!

Oh, and let me just mention, that if I could live anywhere in the world, it’d be Terrasini, Sicily. Totally fell in love!

So, there you have it! I really struggled at first to bring my vision to life through these boards, but I’m happy I persisted. In order to create these, I really had to let go of my attachment to everything being just right, which I think is the key here – to not get attached to certain outcomes, but to trust the process, find your flow, and let it all unfold as it’s meant to.

I love seeing my future laid out before me, and being able to share this with you, so that you can do that same. It’s exciting – my heart is so full of joy and happiness!

For those who know me, you’ll notice there isn’t a bakery or coffeehouse vision board here. I love baking, I’m just not sure if that’s truly where my heart is when it comes to creating the life I desire. I think often about creating a small home-business for baking, so perhaps that’s an option. I also mentioned recipe creation for this blog, which I know will be fulfilling. I think what I’m learning is that you start somewhere, anywhere, and see where it takes you.

These boards are my inspiration for creating the life I desire – I think it’s clear that I desire a calm, peaceful life, creating content to help others, traveling, and holding yoga retreats to include meditation and writing. So many ideas in my mind! I mentioned feeling stuck in my previous post, but the thing is, I know what I want – I just need to trust my journey and the process to get to where I’m going. The best thing I can do is put one foot in front of the other and just keep on. Without a doubt, I’ll end up where I’m meant to be – forward is forward.

My best is right here in front of me, and I know it’s all up to me! I simply desire to have a mindful morning every day, followed by doing all the things I love, in a cozy home, and with a loving partner. A simple life, if you ask me.

Now off you go to create your vision boards! Enjoy, friends – it’s a super lovely process.

Note: I do not take credit for any of these pictures. Several are from Pinterest and Pexels, and a few are just screenshots I saved on my phone (some for years now!).
